Waist High Security Gate

VSG waist high gates come in multiple configurations to meet the requirements of any application. The gates can be installed alone, or used in conjunction with turnstiles and/or railing. VSG gates are ideal for use in providing wheelchair or material delivery access.

VSG gates come in four configurations:

• VSG-1: manual (no lock) with a single direction swing. This gate comes with a hydraulic dampener that minimizes slamming during closure.
• VSG-2: manual (no lock) with a bi-directional swing.
• VSGX-1: electric lock (magnetic lock) with a single direction swing. The VSGX-1 comes with a hydraulic dampener that minimizes slamming during closure.

All versions are available with either infill bars or a clear acrylic panel and wheel chair decal (see photos at right). Post outlets can be added to either the hinge or latch posts to incorporate railing with the gate installation. Ask your Alvarado representative about Alvarado manufactured stainless steel posts and railing.

VSG gates are fabricated from stainless steel and are available in either a #4 satin or a #8 mirror finish.
