Main entry points at military, weapons and nuclear facilities represent the first stage of security. These areas require a maximum security solution that employs a physical barrier to restrict access to authorized personnel.

Alvarado's MST Series of full height security turnstiles are integrated with access control/identification systems to restrict passage to only those with valid credentials. MSTX turnstiles permit only a single passage before the unit automatically re-locks, eliminating “piggybacking”. The MST Series features superior design and construction, with fully welded components. There are no exposed bolts and fasteners commonly used on other turnstiles.

Using MST turnstiles in conjunction with access control systems allows an accurate audit trail/log of everyone who enters and exits the base or facility.

The MST has been designed for continuous, heavy-duty operation, and is rated for outdoor use. MST Turnstiles are available in both single, double (tandem), 4-arm, and extended arm models. Finishes include hot-dipped galvanized, poly-coat, and satin stainless steel.

Alvarado also recommends its line of MSG Full Height Gates. The MSG(X) allows passage for persons in wheel chairs, couriers, parcel deliveries and other special access needs. The MSG(X) comes with kick plate and hydraulic closure to ensure that the gate returns to the closed position. Options include panic exit hardware and electric lock control.
