TAS (Ticket Admission System) Attachment

Alvarado's TAS (Ticketing Admission System) ticket scanning attachment can be mounted on a turnstile, wall, table or stanchion to provide integrated facility bar code scanning.
The TAS scans bar coded tickets including print-at-home tickets, bar coded wrist bands, even cell phone bar codes. The TAS integrates seamlessly with Alvarado's GateLink Validation, GateLink Validation Plus and GateLink LE software.
The unit comes with a high resolution color TFT display for patrons and communicates to the server via Ethernet (wired or 802.11b wireless). The TAS scanning assembly draws very little current and operates on low voltage (5VDC). TAS; A Feature Rich System

PocketGate Wireless Handheld Ticket Scanning

Designed to work with Alvarado’s GateLink Validation series or Park Admission software, Alvarado’s PocketGate application provides real time ticket validation and Administrative lookups via rugged wireless handheld equipment. Alvarado has employed over 1500 wireless handheld units in its installations. Wireless handheld scanners feature integrated barcode scanners and wireless Ethernet, allowing validation of bar coded tickets at main or handicapped entrances.
Alvarado’s PocketCount application can be added to handheld scanners to display real time entry information.
Recent Alvarado developments include using handheld scanners to validate tickets over a wireless WAN (side area network). An example of a wireless WAN would be a cellular network.
For facilities that desire digital ticket fulfillment
and other promotional capabilities, Alvarado also offers the PocketGate
Plus. When used in conjunction with our GateLink
Validation Plus software, the PocketGate Plus not only
provides barcode ticket scanning, but also incorporates a mobile
thermal ticket printer and magnetic- stripe reader to allow printing
of tickets and coupons.
